Terms and Conditions — Buyers & Visitors

For buyers & visitors — please read carefully.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Fairhub as a buyer or visitor — browsing events, purchasing tickets or admission, and attending fairs, markets, and events listed on Fairhub. By using Fairhub or buying a ticket, you (the "Buyer") agree to the following. In these Terms, "Fairhub" means this website and its operators, and "Organizer" means the independent person or business running an event.

1. Role of Fairhub

Fairhub is a marketplace that connects Buyers with Organizers and Vendors. Events are run by independent Organizers; Fairhub does not own, host, or control the events themselves and is not responsible for how they are run.

2. Eligibility and Account

Where an account is required, the Buyer must provide accurate information and is responsible for all activity under the account. A Buyer who is a minor must have a parent or guardian register and make any purchase on their behalf, and minors may attend events only when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Fairhub uses two-factor authentication — a one-time code sent to your email — instead of passwords, so you should keep access to your email account secure. Some events may also have age or other entry requirements set by the Organizer.

3. Tickets and Purchases

Prices, fees, and availability are shown at checkout. A purchase is confirmed once payment is processed and a confirmation or ticket is issued. The Buyer is responsible for providing accurate purchase and contact details.

4. Pricing, Fees, and Taxes

All prices are shown in the listed currency and may include service or processing fees. The Buyer is responsible for any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Entry and Admission

A valid ticket or confirmation may be required for entry. The Organizer may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaches venue rules, behaves unsafely, or does not meet the stated entry requirements.

6. Conduct at Events

Buyers and visitors must follow the Organizer's and venue's rules, act lawfully and respectfully toward others, and comply with all safety instructions and directions from staff.

7. Health and Safety

Attendance is at the Buyer's own risk. Buyers should follow all posted safety guidance, including any health measures in effect at the time of the event.

8. Personal Belongings

Buyers are responsible for their own belongings. Neither Fairhub nor the Organizer is liable for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged at an event.

9. Event Changes

Organizers may change the date, time, location, or program of an event. Fairhub will pass on notice of such changes where reasonably possible but is not responsible for them.

10. Privacy and Media

Personal information is handled in accordance with Fairhub's Privacy Policy. Events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded; by attending, visitors may appear in such media.

11. Communications

By purchasing or registering, the Buyer may receive messages relating to their order or the event. Marketing messages, if any, may be opted out of at any time.

12. Prohibited Use and Resale

Buyers must not use Fairhub for any unlawful purpose, resell tickets contrary to the Organizer's policy, or attempt to defraud, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Fairhub.

13. No Warranty

Fairhub strives to keep event listings accurate but does not guarantee that they are complete, current, or error-free. Listings are provided by Organizers, and Fairhub makes no warranty as to any event, product, or service offered through it.

14. Indemnification

The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Fairhub and its operators against any claim, damage, or loss arising out of the Buyer's misuse of Fairhub or breach of these Terms.

15. Limitation of Liability

Fairhub shall not be liable to the Buyer for any special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, indirect or consequential damages or losses whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of enjoyment, loss of money paid, personal injury, sickness (including but not limited to COVID-19), or loss or damage to property, arising out of the use of Fairhub, the purchase of any ticket, or attendance at any event.

16. Refunds and Cancellation

  • By the Buyer. Refund eligibility is set by the Organizer's stated policy. Where refunds are available, requests should be submitted through Fairhub; Fairhub may facilitate the request, but the Organizer is responsible for honoring it.
  • If the Event is Cancelled or Changed. If an Organizer cancels or materially changes an event, refunds are handled according to the Organizer's policy and applicable law. Fairhub may remove or suspend events that breach these Terms.

These Terms apply from the moment you access Fairhub or purchase a ticket and continue for as long as you use Fairhub or attend an event listed on it.
